Our values are rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and help children understand how to live out the Gospel in practical ways.
Each half term, we focus upon a different value through prayer, collective worship, curriculum learning and opportunities for action:
Human Dignity – Be Loving
We believe that every person is made in the image of God and deserves love and respect.
Stewardship – Be Caring
We care for God’s world and everything within it.
Promoting Peace – Be Forgiving
We choose peace, forgiveness and understanding.
Preferential Option for the Poor – Be Generous
We care especially for people in need and respond with generosity.
Solidarity – Be United
We stand together as one human family and speak out for justice.
Participation – Be Brave
We use our voices and take action to make a positive difference.
Our weekly Faith in Action Award celebrates children who live out the focus value through their words, choices and actions.
