Parish and sacramental life

Our close relationship with the parish is an important part of Catholic life at St Mary’s. Our parish priest, Fr Tony Dutton, is a valued and familiar member of our school family. He visits school regularly, spending time with the children and supporting their understanding of faith, prayer and the Church.

We celebrate Mass together each month, strengthening the connection between school, home and parish. Families, parishioners and members of the wider community are warmly invited to join us for these Masses and for other prayers and celebrations throughout the liturgical year.

Fr Tony works closely with the school and families to prepare children for the Sacramental Programme, including First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Through this partnership, children are supported to deepen their faith and recognise that they belong to the wider Catholic community.
